I am an experienced photographer specialising in social portraiture - i.e. weddings & portraits.
Photography began for me when I first picked up my father's camera some 20 years ago, and pointed it randomly at whatever I found in front of me. What started as a hobby soon became a passion, and I began to explore all the different facets of photography.
I have built a successful career as an IT contractor specialising in database and web technologies, but the need to capture images has never been far from my mind, and I now dove-tail my technical projects with photography assignments and commissions.
Drawing on my background in design, I strive to make powerful, graphic images that capture the feeling and mood of a moment. I employ the latest photographic equipment and technologies, and am experienced with all forms of film-based and digital capture. I bring passion, energy, and maturity to every project.
